    Question WOWA Products

Customers want/look for lower pricing on detailing labor. Skipping a step may be 1-way to get there. So...

    1. I don`t think there are any wowa waxes but are there some out there?

    2. I know of a handful of wowa sealants.

    3. BUT, are there any wipe-on-walk-away coatings besides Duragloss?

Aren`t all the coatings pretty much WOWA? They are all wipe on, knock down high spots, walk away. There are a few spray coatings like the Duragloss, Pinnacle Black Label, Detailer`s Pro, um...maybe a couple others I can`t think of. You could also use HydrO2.

For coatings to get durability there is a lot more prep involved and it wouldn`t be cost effective on his part I would think if he`s tailoring to customers lower budget.
Yes Hydro2 would get my vote as well, great look/durability/and very fast application.

DG AquaWax is more of a spray-on sealant. I love it as a drying aid and as a protection/shine booster. Fantastic on glass as well.

Optimum Car Wax is a spray-on wax, but can streak if not ideal circumstances.

Optimum Opti-Seal is a true WOWA sealant with durability much greater than the other two I listed. About as easy as it gets. Looks great, especially about 12-24 hours later.

like others said, not sure of any legit waxes that you can simply wipe on and will get several months of durability. there are a few spray sealants, but you still probably wouldn`t get more than a few months out of it, if the paint didn`t have some sort of relatively recent coat of something on it already. then you have several spray on coatings. we use Detailers Pro (DP) Paint Coating a lot, it comes in 4 ounce bottles, $50 each so if you get them on a 20% sale its only $40. its extremely easy to use. just wipe on and hit the high spots after. it literally disappears as you wipe it on. you would still want to use a small foam applicator of some sort. a 4 ounce bottle will do about 5 cars of average 4 door size, so less than $10 each. that`s quick, easy, cheap, and I`ve not only had great results from everything I`ve used it on, but clients seem to really like it and the fact that we can do the job faster, and for a better price.

Aquawax is an inexpensive choice. I like Z8 because of the glow that it produces at dusk or under lights. I haven`t found another product with that type of glow.
