poorboys super slick and suds question

They say it leaves nothing behind, but it seems to mite beading when rinsing.
And washed a friends car, wearing hard body, with it a few times and beading and sheeting was muted. Had to use carpro reset to get it to re-appear again...

Re: poorboys super slick and suds question

    It`s always done me right..

    Always rinsed clear/clean for me

Could there have been anything else on the coating? QD? Touchless car wash stuff? etc

I have used it before with no issues. Are you sure you are not using Super Slick Suds and Wax?

I`m using SSS and spray and wipa as drying aid... nothing else is used, as I don`t want anything interferring with the coating

Some wash have wetting agents to surpress beading after the wash to prevent water spots but it should disappear quickly. Spray and Wipe has something that adds slickness but it is not really gloss enhancing like most detailers.

To see something in action, try something like DDJ Time to Dry Detailer. It definitely reduces beading as you spray it over wet areas.

Might be the spray and wipe then... Will give it a go without this one.

When you say "interfering with the coating" what do you mean?

Super Slick & Suds is free rinsing and does not leave anything behind.

Been an avid PB user for well over ten years...the SS&S is my go to wash and never had one problem with it other than I run out of it before I can re-order...that`s a problem!

I have used SSS in a bucket and in a foam cannon on EXO v1, v2 and opticoat and have not had any issues. I would suggest that there is something else in play here.

it doesn`t bead and sheet anymore like it used to. ( only a few months old).
But after washing with carpro reset, itall came back, so there must have been some polymers left on thepaint that clogged up the nano structure. I`m not saying it`s the SSS,but when rinsing, it seems to mute beading, so the water is just flat on the surface, whichmakes it easier to dry.

Could be the spray and wipe?

These are the only 2 products I use when working on a carwith a coating, because I don`t want anything interfering with the water behaviour
