Also worth a note or two. All times I have been using light pressure and the paint that has marred has always been soft or above average roughness/orange peel.

Toyota and Lexus paints really marr compared to most.
I agree. I have definitely noticed it most on paint with a lot of orange peel. Recently had the problem on a 2007 Honda Accord. The paint seemed rougher than normal with some pretty heavy orange peel. Had quite a bit of marring on this one. Was performing a one step with an AIO which removed the marring with ease.

I only got marring the first time I used it on like two panels bc I didn`t break it in enough. Never get marring now. I do think glide is the best lubricant for it however. I tried last touch and it didn`t feel the same.

Are you using soapy water? That`s your problem. It`s not recommended and really will marr the paint. I used to do the same until I realized what it was doing. I`ve used ONR since and no problems now.
