Is there a polymer free waterless wash?

Sorry if it`s a stupid question. If I want to apply a second coat of sealant on a different day but don`t want to do a complete wash, is there a waterless wash I can use that will be free of polymers and oils so the second coat can bond better with the first layer? I`m assuming that if the waterless wash has polymers and oils, the second layer of sealant will not bond as well. Is that assumption correct?

I use Klean Strip Prep All after polishing and before applying the first coat of sealant. I was told that if I use Prep All on the sealant before a second coat, it will remove the first coat of sealant.

I usually don`t have more than a couple of hours to work on my vehicle so I do a portion at a time and don`t always feel like doing a full wash before I work on a panel or two.

A waterless wash w/ polymers should cause zero bonding issues, really none. Don`t over think it! :-)

OK thanks. I guess when I was buying some supplies I was told to use a polymer free wash so a second layer would bond better. I was wondering if it applied to waterless wash.

Although not a waterless wash, but a bucket wash. Both GTech GWash and Prima Hydro Wash leaves nothing behind. I use either one to wash after polishing and before applying a wax or sealant.

It`s not a full waterless wash, but Megs 34 quick detailer leaves nothing behind. I use it for situations like you are describing...

Shameless BLACKFIRE Plug -since all BLACKFIRE "Wet Diamond-series" products use the same three-polymer system, this would never be an issue...

That said, I wouldn`t worry too much about it.

Supposedly, Adam`s waterless wash leaves nothing behind. I have a sample, but have only used it a lit bit. On the other hand, I really wouldn`t worry about it.

Poorboys Spray and Wipe claims to not leave anything behind.
The devil made me do it the first time.
The second time I done it on my own.
