    Water Filtration kit

I live in a area with very hard water and if I dont get to it before it`s dry I`m in serious trouble. I was thinking of buying a filtration kit for personal use but I was hoping to get some recommendations from members who have them. Any info would be most helpful.

I just bought a Cr Spotless. No sign they shipped the damn thing. Its really the most practical one out there. For a LITTLE bit less you could buy all the stuff online and make your own.

However, a guy that made his own said most of the O rings and fittings aren`t standard sizes, so some hassle could be involved.

There are two types of water that help. "Softened" water can still leave spots, but they should be less aggressive (NaCl). De-ionized is water free of all minerals and should leave no spots. That`s what you want. But resin is expensive and you only get so many gallons out if it.

Most people just use the DI water for a final rinse. I plant on using mine to rinse after foaming, prior to a rinseless wash.
