I mix APC in my bucket. I`ve used BF APC for this and worked well. Also griots paint prep is pretty bad ass as well!

How many ounces and which brand?

I used BF as noted in the quote and if I recall I used 2-3 oz, not very much. I`ve used CG All Clean+ as well and worked nice. . Honestly though try the GG paint prep its good stuff! I learned this little tip from Nick@Autogeek he said use a few oz of a good APC in your wash bucket!
