Re: Looking for a new soap

I mostly use Chemical Guys HoneyDew Snow Foam and Mr. Pink. Both have a great scent and clean really well. I have used them from the foam gun and bucket both and you can`t go wrong with either. I little goes a long way too.

Troy has a sample thread here and he has some fine shampoos in there. Perhaps you can make a trade with him and try a few different shampoos out and judge for yourself.

It`s been quite a while since I read it, I don`t remember which write up it was in but I don`t believe it was specifically about Megs 62.

Poorboy`s is my all time favorite. I have tried a lot of different ones. For a gentle clean that doesn`t affect waxes you can try 1Z perls. I recently purchased a bottle of Dodo Juice but have not tried it yet. Waiting for some warmer weather.

Yanno I wasn`t a big fan of SP, I always preferred Hyper Wash. Had to do a maintenance wash on my folks Expedition and decided to give SP another try. I have almost a gallon so I need to use it sometime. I don`t know if it`s the lower temperatures (65*) or how I mixed it this time (3.5oz to roughly 3.5gal water) but it worked better than I remember it. Gonna use it more often now since I`ve gotten it to work better. Also like the way it cleans tires and the wheelwells standalone.

I looked for it and couldn`t find it. I believe it was in a thread about your favorite products that nobody talks about. Meguiar`s M62 smell great, cleans great, and is very free rinsing.

I also really like (in no particular order) Dodo Juice SuperNatural, BLACKFIRE Conditioning Shampoo, DG901, Optimum Car Shampoo, Ultima Paint Wash Plus, 1Z Perls, and more.

Adams is my choice. Price and performance. Rinses off well. Use it in my foam gun and bucket (which has 6 MFT`s soaking that I use to wash car).
