    Hi Ai,

    Thank you for your comment. I double checked the cap size with water for easier measurement and it is 7.5ml for a cap, same as the cap used by Blackfire shampoo.

    So just about a quarter of an ounce - so I guess it`s supposed to be one cap per gallon, which would be equivalent to one ounce for four gallons.

    I would tend to believe directions on a label versus what is on a web site and suggest Todd contact Chemical Guys to get some clarity on dilutions given the contradictions between labeling. CG web site, and CG videos (some by Greg Masterson). The superlatives in their write ups is expected given the demographics they seem to market.

    My guess is they do not really think it is that important for consistency.

    It`s not only being consistent with their directions but the difference in dilution rates can affect whither you are going to strip the wax off your car when you think you are only giving it a maintenance wash. BIG difference.
