i prefer the chenille m/f as it holds plenty suds and does less paint marring. plus it rinses well for the next soapy dunk.

I voted Sheepskin, but only for traditional washing. If Im doing a rinseless wash I prefer 16x16 microfiber towels.

Natural Sea Sponge

I love these as they just glide effortlessly across the paint. They don`t require any pressure of any sort to remove dirt, they hold tons of soap / suds and rinse out very very easily.

When I first started using them, I really felt like they would not last as long, but I have had one for over a year and its gets used as my main wash media.

When others have tried using it on their cars during "how to" sessions, I am immediately asked to order one for them as they have never felt anything like it.

My absolute favorite.

I see I`m not the only one who likes the Sheep Skin/ Lamb`s Wool. I want to try the Natural sea sponge, but I`m always afraid that I`m going to do some damage with it.

I voted Chenillie Microfiber Wash Mitt, but it has to be sure soft. Found some fantastic ones at Kmart of all places.
I like OPT mit for rinseless washes.

I used to love sheepskin mits but now that I have become more educated, I feel like they dont release dirt very well. Im always finding bits for stuff stuck in there while im washing. As soon as I wash a lower panel I have something stuck, tiny pebbles ect. This is even after rubbing against the grit guards.

My favourite wash media is the Meguiar`s MF wash mitt.
I use a few things from the Megs mitt, to Cobra Bone, to white Shmitt.

They all have 1 thing in common is that the mitt is white.
I only use a wash media that is white.
Being white they allow me to see clearly if the mitt is clean or not before letting it touch my paint.

Meguiar`s mitt is my favourite simply because it is the most economical among the other white tools.

I do mostly rinseless washes, so my vote is from that perspective. I was recently using a plush microfiber and liked how it was pliable and had multiple faces. That`s what I voted for earlier in this thread. But yesterday, i use my Chenille MF mitt. I usually don`t ever wear the mitt on my hand, rather just use it like a sponge. However, yesterday I decided to put it on and I realized why people like this. I found that I could work faster and didn`t have to concentrate on dropping it or becoming unfolded. It`s also nice to work through the different contours. I`m sure I`ll go back and forth and even try new techniques, but I do like the mitt.

This time of year in northern Illinois has religated me to ONR now. I`ve been using a Chenillie Microfiber Wash Mitt but have started using a cut up grout sponge and really like the way it releases the grit into the rinse bucket. But when summer comes I`m sure I`ll go back to using a mit.

I`ve used a MF-covered sponge, grout sponge, MF towels, and my preference is the MF chenille wash mitt (noodle mitt) - I just feel that it`s able to keep the dirt away from the paint better. I`ve heard some strong recommendations for sheepskin mitts, but I do mostly rinseless washes, and I`ve read that sheepskin isn`t the best choice for that.
