    Chem Guys Soap comparison (specs)

Using information from Chem Guys web site, I created this table comparing characteristics. All info is from CG but interesting to see how they compare suds, lubricity, gloss, etc.

That`s funny they say citrus wash and gloss is safe on wax sealant when it`s a wax stripper!

This may be a real stupid question, but.....................................

Why wouldn`t any car soap not be safe for dark or light cars ??
Formerly the "Best Detailer", now just Super Wax Waster Man. Not necessarily tactful, but normally right. It`s good to be da King !!!

I thought it was interesting they listed it as if they sold a soap that was not....who knows.

I have to give CG credit for cleaning up their web site and creating the tables that I just merged into one. I did not find Citrus Red.

It seems that they are cleaning up the whole product line on their website in order to make the information easier to find on their products.

This is what I was told originally as well and what I used when I obtained some.

I tried it using less concentrated once I read reports on other dilution but felt that it was not nearly as good at less than 0.5 ounce per gallon to me but even at 0.5 to 1 ounce per gallon it is still a fairly inexpensive soap.

Yes, the chart does because that is what is listed on their web site but when I first used it CG was not very clear on the dilutions so I followed other recommendations.

Even now, if you look at Mr PInk they also reference 4000:1 dilution. I have no idea where they get that since even 1 oz to 5 gallons is not even close to that.

What dilution are you all using for Wash & Gloss as a stripper? I was thining about foaming with a hyperwash and opc mix and then washing with either dawn or wash and gloss.
