I`m not even sure they own it. Probably a rental. "Sorry windows were down and it rained. Glad we paid $30 for insurance. Your car is a mess. Bye Bye."

One day I`ll get to do my own car.

Aggressive Detailing
This reminds me a little of a detail job I did for a womans whos husband who used to have a detailing business.
I arrive there and look at the interior carpets that have been unvacumed and heavily soiled . It smelled strongly of cheap fake vanilla and when I touched them ALL the were wet ?
I asked the husband why the carpets were wet and he said he was just helping out and sprayed them with carpet cleaner before I came !!!WTF!!!??
Oh "thanks " (not)I said , now let me do the rest without your help!!!

Guys like this keep us in business. Gotta love plain old fashioned STUPID!!
there are 2 "detail" shops here that do this...one even uses a wash brush and scrubs everything down and rinses...when we called to compare prices befor i opend my shop we called that guy and when asking there process we got " whats a clay bar?" and " we dont even own a buffer. we dont need it, we use really good wax to fill the scratches. only body shops use buffers real details dont need them"
By the comments on this thread I have been doing it all wrong all these years.
Was going to mention that but I figure if you spend less time in the Great White North and more time watching enough YouTube vids you`ll get the hang of it eventually.
Take a pressure washer north next time and show Mr./Dr. X how you`ve improved your interior regimen.

That is just plain sickening.......even if it was a joke.
