Wow, this thread makes me want to get my PBS that has been collecting dust on my shelf! I never knew that it was safe for paint.

Get your shine on!
I have one and love it. It always scared me to use it on the dark green Jaguar but it never left a mark. Just cleaned super well.

I used one for years and never had a problem with mine. I was leary at first, then tried it. No problem
I`m glad so many people have had good results with it as well
I`m just glad I don`t have to drive my car in Florida after seeing the giant bugs you guys have to deal with, yikes. You sure those aren`t just real small birds?
I have been using Bug Bricks, Bug Sponges for years and never had a issue with marring. Just keep it loaded with suds and it will remove the bugs and other sticky stuff. I always wash well with a APC and let them air dry. They have performed better than any bug wash or bug remover I have ever used.
I just picked one up last week after reading this review. Like others I would have been terrified to use it before. Unfortunately there weren`t enough bugs to give it a try this weekend but at least I have it now and know it`ll get the job done when I do need it.
Nice review, ill have to pick one of these up.

Nope, not yet. I haven`t done any cars with enough bugs to try it out. Actually I haven`t really seen any bugs on cars I`ve done in the past couple months. I will probably have to wait until I take a road trip to try it out or I think spring is usually the time of year we get the most bugs in So Cal.
For me they have multiple uses.
I also use it dry (when there`s no compressed air avail.) to clean the Megs mf discs on-the-fly.
always good to have when you need it
warning: it will scare you when you first get it. ya gotta soak it in soapy water and let it soften
