Re: What clays do you have in your tool kit?

Clay Magic Blue, Meg`s Red, and I`ve got a couple bars of the Mother`s Gold kicking around as well that I never use, because I don`t really care for it.

All of which get ONR used as lube.

Meguiar`s Gray- MY favorite thus far.
Griot`s Yellow- Not so fond of.
    Mother`s Yellow- Worse than Griot`s.
Just ordered the Ultima Elastrofoam based on Garry`s review and all of the sudden replies.

Re: What clays do you have in your tool kit?

I`ve tried the Meguiars, which I didn`t care for, and Mothers which I like and thought was doing a good job. Recently switched over to ONR for lube and like it much better than the showtime. Just bought some DI medium grade clay just to see if there was a difference but haven`t tried it yet.

The Elastrofoam sounds interesting, I`m going to have to try that. If you drop the Elastrofoam and it touches the ground are you supposed to pitch it like you do clay or can it be cleaned and reused?

Gliptone Body Bar. After I receive my Magna Sponge, I may never reach for clay again.

Question Re: What clays do you have in your tool kit?

Previously Mothers California Gold Clay Bar Kit.
Refills / Currently Meguiar`s Pro, Aggressive & Mild.
Curious if anyone has a recommendation as to any brand that may be more aggressive than Megs Aggressive? I have searched several forums for a chart but cannot find one. I prefer clay over liquid cleaners for sap, tar, road grime, and especially drag radial remnants, and found that the more aggressive the clay, the less aggressive I need to be. I don`t have any problems with the Megs Aggressive, it works pretty well, but if there is another brand that someone thinks is stronger, I`d give it try..

clay magic red. make sure the bar is fresh & fold it over often. also, make sure the surface is well lubricated before you clay. most of the time i use a little bit of car wash soap with water. i like to treat myself sometimes to auto magic body shine from time to time. maybe i should just buy that for myself & hide it from my workers? hmm...
