With what frequency do you wash your own car?

Every couple months. No time for my own junk! My wifes maybe once a month.

Washing my cars isn`t work. To me, it`s exercise, relaxation and accomplishment all in one bundle.

When it is dirty. Can be 3 times a week. I hate driving a dirty vehicle. It is also nice when your clients see that your vehicle is always clean and shiny.

I usually wash the truck about once a week. In the summer if it has not rained I will Quick Detail it daily sometimes just to get the light dust off and keep it looking like new.

Usually once a week, maybe once every couple of weeks if my truck has been sitting under the carport and not been anywhere (which happens pretty often, honestly).

Once a week seems right and I`ve rarely ever washed it twice within the same week unless it`s gotten excessively dirty...

Winter

During the winter months I wash it as often as the weather permits...

For the daily driver: Once every week to two weeks or so unless it rains, then once after every rain.

For the garage queens: About twice a year +/- or if a haze/film is present on the finish

I can`t stand to drive in a dirty car. It ticks me off in the winter because it`s so hard to wash it where I live without a garage with a drain. It gets too cold.

I like to keep the paint shiny and slippery, gives me better gas mileage.

I think mine feels faster when it`s clean. Dirt must weigh a lot


When I worked at my old location I was able to wash my car 2 or 3 times a week. I had better hours back then. Everyone use to ask if my car ever got dirty and people would say I was going to wash the paint off at some point

I wish I could say it was once a week... but it seems that being busy only allows for once or twice a month

The next poll to keep it in progression would be if you use a detail spray as either a drying aid or gloss enhancer.

From March to December when it`s dirty with a minimum of once a week. In the other months it`s hard because of the cold here. I just bought some DP rinseless so hopefully that will help for the winter months.

I keep my van spotless and wipe the tops down everyday . The rest every other day .The wheels and tires once a week.

Dont ask me how often I clean my house!
