I do the same thing, once I walk out the door I ask myself why I just bought the stuff, I like to have a bunch of stuff whether I use it or not.

I like the fact that I can pick and chose what I want, not from a few products I have.

Good for you, Jay! I know how it is. I`ll make excuses to go to Wal-mart, say to pick up some pencils, and I end up spending an hour in there!

Isn`t it great that Wal-mart has Mother`s Clay Bar?

Sounds weird but the only store that stocks detailing stuff around here is K-Mart which is going under........ aside from that I need to go to PepBoys, AutoZone and auto related store, you guys got it easy, sounds like you people are finding Meguiars in Burger King...

absolutely, i was quite happy to find it there, and it`s $5 cheaper than at Pep Boys. It was kind of an added bonus that i saw the viking mitt there, after all the talk about them on here.

I was using some other mitt.

The warden had a meeting last night, so I was left to my own devices. Pouring rain and 36 degrees, and I "needed" to make quick trip to Wally World, Autozone and Pep-Boys.

Did pick-up a Mothers Clay kit for $13 from Wally, though. Man, it was cold!

    Two commercials come to mind.

The wife is driving the van...husband and friends are sitting in the back seats....wife tells them she will pick them up at a certain time. The time arrives and they don`t want to leave the tools dept.

Other commercial....the Tool guy is on a video screen and one of the shoppers yells .....theres a sale on ballpeen hammers(or such).

SO....we gotta have the DETAILERS commercial

This senerio can be built upon.

Camera One fades in on Wally World ...... police are directing traffic.....massive crowd trying to enter main doors......camera two has a closeup on two Autopians

Autopian #1 has a doe eyed expression

Autopian #2 is saying.."Wally World has a sale on Big Blue Towels"

Is the mitts you picked up from Walmart 100%Cotton with the cotton logo on it??

My local Walmart in the bay area only has the non cotton Viking Mitts.

I know exactly how you guys feel. I can`t just walk in to a store (Wal-Mart, K-mart, etc.) without checking automotive section.

Maybe they have some new stuff? Gold Class Wash on sale! etc.

I even check different stores in town. This way I pick up more and more stuff and my wife thinks I`m going nuts.

Sometimes it pays off, I found Rain-X wheel protectant at Auto Zone (loved by YoSteve and probably discountinued) and STP Vision Blade at Wal-Mart.

My local Walmart in the bay area only has the non cotton Viking Mitts. [/b]</blockquote>yup, I double and triple checked. That`s what I said at first, "wow, really?!" but then I read closely and it was the 100% cotton version.
