    That is wierd, never have seen clay do that before. Looks like it got past the quality check :

    I think the clay was just over moistened when being made

    Weird, what clay lube did you use? Maybe lube has something that reacts with PB clay? Not likely though

    For clay lube I used the Poorboys Super Slick and Suds 1 oz to 32 oz water. I have done this before with this and other clay with no issues. I also finished 80% of this detail with another new peice of the PB clay from the same camister no issues. The more I think about it, and how fast is degraded, it had to be a defective peice of caly. I posted on the PB board and will see if Steve has any ideas.
