Good one!:iagree: Yep, I had on two t-shirts and a zipper hooded sweatshirt. The key to staying warm is the warm water ONR mix.

that sounds pretty chilly for a wash...Hey, Bill, do you have a pressure washer and a foam lance? If not, you should seriously condsider having these tools...I came back from South Lake Tahoe, and my car lots of road salt and grime...I foamed it up twice, let it dwell, then pressure rinsed it off...most of it was gone by then, then I washed as normal...especially considering that it is cold, pressure washer and a foam lance are the MUST HAVE essential tools...

I have a Gilmour Foam Gun that I use when the temps are "normal". ONR is usually my winter wash procedure. I`ve used it down to about 27* with the sun shining.

I have a pressure washere that I use on REALLY dirty cars before I do a conventional wash.

Too cold for either of those methods at this time of year!!!:chillpill::clap:

    Question

I`ve never used ONR, but you may have persuaded me to try it.

I have a question. I noticed that Pontiac has Kumho tires on it. Were those original equipment or replacements?

Replacements. I bought them from Tire Rack. Excellent tires. Smooth, quiet and a treadwear rating of 420. I`ve been very pleased with them.:Car smiley:

My wife`s Sonata has the Solus K16`s. I`m going to move up to the Ecsta LX Platinum KU27 next spring.

The Solus in 17" have been a very nice ride, great traction and quiet. A nice tire for OE.

No more whining about it being too cold for me... I`m just gonna get out there and get to it.

    Thanks for the motivation!:hurray:

Haha! (There are much better role models than me!)

For me, it`s 20-30 minutes of good excersize, outside in the fresh air. MUCH better than climbing on the boring treadmill in the winter! Great for the heart and lungs, and I do this several times a week with my car and my wifes... And it`s fun.

Side note: When my neighbor says: "Don`t you know it`s going to rain?"

I always respond: "GOOD! That means I get to wash it again tomorrow!!!"

    He hates that.

Bill, you`ve successfully removed all the excuses for those in the same conditions! Hot water in the bucket(s) + ONR = clean vehicle! That ONR stuff is amazing. I love it also.

Looks great, now go get it dirty again!!! (j/k).

It`s not really HOT water, for fear of removing the sealant. I use warm water at a comfortable temp to keep my hands warm during the wash!

Ahhh gotcha, I was thinking that if you start out hot you end up with luke warm in the bucket by the end of the car in those temps. Great point in that you want to avoid "hot" water for fear of prematurely reducing the effectiveness of the LSP that`s on the paint. Came out awesome looking though.

Nice little cleanup on the daily driver, Bill.

The one thing I try and do is put a lot of effort into getting the wheelwells clean an dressed each time I wash, if you let it go too long it becomes a real pain in the future.
