Not really sure that will help.

The heat exchanger is on a frame, then inserted from underneath.

    Re: So my problem is....

I`m confused. Are the streaks from water dripping or from the Motor Kote?

If they are from dripping - do I final rinse with DI water. Then let it dry overnight or in the sun and just wipe it with a QD. A CR Spotless is a great tool here. A lot of times I wash my car and just let it drip dry in the garage overnight. No drying at all. Any "spots", wipe right off with a QD the next day.

If they are from MK - spray it on an applicator and apply it. I dunno. I know a lot of people like this product - but I`ve never used it. I just use whatever dressing on the engine - but I don`t use spray dressings. I use gel and lotion types. Most seem to work well with an applicator. If it`s a complex surface - I use Meg`s D4510.

This can be smears, or water type streaks that if you try to dry them, they smear. I`m not sure it water is hitting the dressing (but probably not after 3+ months) or water/soap etc that`s getting caught under the heat exchanger frame.

    Re: So my problem is....

You need a VX5000 steamer to clean the heat exchanger .
Lay a towel under the exchanger and blast it with steam .
Wait to you see how dirty the towel is.

There`s a lot of suntan lotion in the Florida air. Haha
