What does the TDS on your CRS indicate?
I don`t use the resin on my own car when the tds gets above 20

Have you tried amazon, the reviews are pretty spot on.
I looked at this one, it was 100$ on deal of the day. Kicking myself now...

The information provided has me confused
You indicate that you use the CR Spotless system and change the resin when the TDS get to 20 PPM
You should never get water spots using the wash techniques you described, when using water that is less than 20 PPM
Very surprised you are only getting two car washes with each resin refill. Even with very hard water (400 PPM) you should get almost 200 gallons out of the smallest CR Spotless unit. Are you using CR Resin?

Is it possible that the flow rate thru your CR Spotless is too high and the filter does not have time to zap the contaminants?
Straight zeroes until it needs recharged. Once I get *any* TDS reading I figure I have maybe two or three rinses at most before I need to recharge it. I`ve never let it get so discharged that I got an actual TDS reading in the sense of "what my water is without it". I had that data around here from when I redid my softener system but can`t seem to find it now..
Ordered the Ivation Portable sprayer and picked up 15 gallons of di water from the grocery store to test out the system today on my friends car. Everything worked perfect and no spotting!
Highly recommend this product and just wanted to thank this great community for solving the mishap my friend and I have been struggling with until now. You guys rock! Another Autopian saved!
Nopstnz8- hey, that`s great that you can get the DI water at the grocery like that! Glad it`s a solution to the problem.
Unless it`s just *really* awful water that depletes the resin that fast due to so many TDS, it sounds to me like the system is doing its job, but with too much water going through the resin is being wasted by doing so much so fast.Originally Posted by allenk4
