    Problem with pollen...Help!

We are in peek pollen season right now here in Ontario and I have a bad problem I can`t seem to remedy.
Since I last washed clay barred and polished and waxed, we have had some really hot weather and it would seem that the pollen in the air has settled into my wax and solidified there.
I have since washed and tried clay barring only to have the clay stick to the pollen and leave it looking worse than when I started.
I used copious amounts of clay lube, so that wasn`t the issue. Seems like this pollen has caused me more trouble than I thought.
I tried a small area with MUC and nothing!
There is no garage so I`m at the mercy if Mother Nature.
Any ideas as to how I should go about dealing with this problem?

The picture is the clay that has stuck to the pollen.

    Problem with pollen...Help!

    Hmmm.

We have tons of pollen here, and I have never had that issue. But, I`m sure all pollen isn`t the same. I`m going to tell you to try a product you may be able to pick up locally, a solvent based tar remover. I`m sure that will do it. If you can`t get it locally - pick up some TarX.

You will have to re-wax the area after.

    What is MUC???

    Megs Ultimate Compound??

    Anyone remember Muc-Off???

    Yes Meg`s ultimate compound.
So I`m assuming these products will not affect the clear coat?

Stoner Tarminator Tar, Grease & Sap Remover is clear coat safe

CarPro Tar X Tar & Adhesive Remover they warn not to let this stand on the finish for more than 7-10 minutes

just wondering, but what kind of clay lube did you use?

did the clay pill and fall apart?

Once again (seems like I`m always posting this...), I`d wash it with ValuGard`s "A" and then rewax with something like FK1000P (nothing seems to stick to/damage that LSP).

I checked all over the net for Valugard Neutralization System and it isn`t sold in Canada that I could find. I could get it from ValuGards website but at $55 shipping for 1 bottle.
Looks like I`m going to have to find and try a different product that has similar properties that I can buy at a reasonable price.

    Re: Problem with pollen...Help!

Well after many passes with different products and different pads on my PC I finally got the results I was looking for.
It was a combination of Autoglym HD cleanser ( as I couldn`t get Valugard here in Canada)
Next was mineral spirits, next was Meg`s UC followed by 2 passes each of Griots MC 2 and 4 at 5 on my PC.
Finished with Blackfire Wet Diamond. I`m not going to wax till this pollen stops.
Thanks to everyone for your help.
It was a long process for something as small as pollen but I finally have what I set out to get.

    Re: Problem with pollen...Help!

marinesoup- Sorry, gotta admit I don`t know from product availability in Canada

Just for future reference, the ValuGard stuff is used/sold by Ford dealers (but I don`t know what they call it), maybe that`d be a cost-effective source.
