... be thrown in the bin, or used? If I use it, it would be after a full clay and polish and I would then use AIO and P21S over the top. Would it be worth doing?
Any advice would be good.

I bought a new Ka and was offered the Diamond Brite service as a complimentary thing...but no ta! If it was me i`d BIN IT NOW!! you KNOW you want to!
If its anything like Supaguard, then I would not bother. If you planned to AIO the car afterwards, I would imagine that this step would remove much of the DB anyway.
I wouldn`t just throw it before you`ve had a chance to use it... you might actually like the stuff!
Put some on and see what it`s like and let us know what you think of it. Top it with a good paste wax if necessary.

Why do people think it is bad stuff? I realise it isn`t a proper detailing product, but would it have any negative effects if I use it? WOuld it reduce clarity and shine?
The only reason I would use it would be for the protection.
I say try it and report back. As I understand it the biggest problem with this type of product is the very high prices people charge for using it.
Give it a whirl - the major negativity IMHO with this and other "dealer" products is simply the high prices charged for application as opposed to poor product performance.

The reason I don`t like these type of products is the "never wax your car again" claims which we all know are BS.

Hi,
Did u ever try the kit and if so what results did you get??
Thanks
well IMO, since you have the product already it might as well be used until there is none left. if you were thinking of buying some then thats a different story, but unless its a total pain to apply and buff off and gives horrendous results theres really no point in throwing it away if it gives some form of protection.
