We sure do seem to have some different experiences, I guess all paint is different. I know some products work amazingly well on some surfaces, only to fall flat on others. Good reason to keep a well stocked set of detailing cabinets! Anyway, I didn`t want to thread jack too much so I posted my own thread:

Megs NXT2: Easy to apply and remove. Deepens colour and masks light swirls.

Megs Gold Class: Does not deepen as much as NXT2, but is very glossy and hides swirls.

Swissvax Onyx - excellent on blacks and dark colours.

Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine - a bit difficult to buff off. Formulated to hide swirls.

The ultimate cover-up, based on my experience, is:

Swissvax Cleaner Fluid (pure polish) + Swissvax Onyx (their lowest-end wax).

I bet that`d work well with a base of their SRP too

1z polish and wax is a great one step. If fills and leaves some protection behind.

Is that AKA "Metallic Polish and Wax", the pink stuff in the red can?

Speaking of 1Z stuff that conceals, their WaxPolishSoft is good too and makes a nice base for LSPs like Collinite.
