So spray people... are you spraying it directly onto the tire?
35 & 30 profile tires are more narrow than a typical spray pattern just a few inches away. It`s doubtful you`ll hurt the anything, but with tires being so tucked-in these days, the overspray is on the fender as well as the wheel! Not worth it.

    Re: Tire Dressing

I base my dressing decision on where the client lives and what kind of roads the car sees. This is a fairly rural area where dusty roads are common. If the car looked like it sees a lot of gravel roads then no dressing at all. If it looked like it sees some lightly dusty areas but nothing major, then I do a water based dressing like Hyper Dressing. If it never sees anything other than city or highway roads, then Blackfire gel is my go to.

    Both!
for my maintenance/frequent customers I just use Megs HD 1:1 spray.
For customers that purchase higher end packages I use PERL Undiluted

Opti-Bond Gel for a more matte finish, Meguiar`s Silicone Free Dressing for glossier. I use it in the typical spray bottle on a narrow spray, and keep a MF towel handy to wipe off any overspray. I use a Carrands applicator for both.

I am solely a gel guy. I think I only used a spray once or twice. The spray wasn`t bad I just prefer gel.

I use spray. After spraying the tires I come back with a damp mitt and wipe off the overspray. After that I usually will apply some sort of wax to the outside wheel

I can never get gels to preform like I want. Especially if I am dealing with truck tires

    Re: Tire Dressing

I don`t have a preference as long as the product works.
