Same for me. Did a quick wash last night on my truck. Wheels were cleaned with DG901 and a grout sponge. Beading was very nice.

If the DP Wheel Coating holds up as claimed I am sold.

    That is great.

Could you just spray it them with a hose and have them be 90% clean?

90% is stretching it, but I was able to get the wheel about 70% clean by just spraying it with a strong jet of water. A quick swipe with your wash mitt (soap only) removes the remaining brake dust and dirt with ease.

for sure. all depends on how much dirt/brake dust your dealing with.

Sounds good. This is fairly similar to OC on wheels.

My wheels are holding up great with the DP Wheel Coating. Super easy to clean with simple soap and water. I can also knock the majority of the dust/dirt with a blast of the hose. Very happy with the product.

I`m in for updates. So far my experience has been sealants shed brake dust fine on the first wash but don`t work as well after

Re: Dp wheel coat (quick update)

I`ve had the wheel coating on for a few weeks now and WOW what a difference. I just blast the wheels with the pressure washer and bingo, clean. I go over them with a wash mitt and can`t see any evidence of dirt on the mitt. Great stuff so far! I also applied it to my chrome exhaust tips, INSIDE and out, with the same results. Neat.
    Keep smilin!
