    Scratched rim repair

So I`m detailing this CTS and the rims are pretty trashed. Scratches all over them. Anyone have a suggestion on how I can go about to restore these rims. They appear to be polished aluminum.

They have a clear coat on them so you could polish them like you do paint.

    Re: Scratched rim repair

I tried a small area and the polish seemed to have no effect. Of course I did try by hand... I only have some 6 inch pads, so I might have to polish by hand.

I need to pick some up. Maybe there is a meguiars metal polish at the store I can pick up.
