There is an easier way to clean a black stained tire brush. APC won`t work. Get the brush, spray it with Goo Gone Automotive Formula, then agitate on a grit guard like you are scrubbing it. After a minute or so, stream so water while scrubbing. This quickly returns your nastiest tire brush to pretty much brand new.

Try it, but it has to be Goo Gone.

This has been my (brief) experience as well. It, like all TUF SHINE products, works great.

Thanks for the advice, sounds like it would work great.

Try the Mother`s tire brush too, that thing has rinsed clean on everything I have put it through. Haven`t even had to use APC yet!
