I purchased matte black wheels and hate trying to keep them clean and prefer if they were glossy. Any product out there that wouldenhance the gloss and also protect them. Could I just wet sand them w 2000grit and apply clear coat?

There is a product called opti coat that might just be the ticket. Wait for Other to confirm it as I just know enough to be dangerous. Lol.
Opti Coat will be the best protection for your wheels.
It may add a slight sheen to your matte wheels but I have heard of many people doing so and being very happy with the outcome.
Take em to a body shop and have them cleared, no detailing product will do them as well....

You could sand a clearcoat them, but I would go with 1000 grit for better adhesion.
Also make sure you get some paint degreaser like prep-sol to clean them up before painting.
I noticed Blackfire crystal seal gives black matte a little gloss but may be not enough for you.
