    tire dressing

I am in the search of a good tire dressing . Would like to know what people are using and a good choose . Also needs to be something that give a good shine and applied with a sponge or applicator .Not trying to use spray on due to spray off and wasting chemical . Trying to be cost effective .

There are many good options. I would point you towards the BF tire Gel or Opti Bond.

Another good option that I am using is Tuff Shine. It is more of a tire "coating". It is more permenent that regular tire gel.

You might also give Meg`s Hyper Dressing some consideration, I`ve tried most of the popular tire dressings out there and for some reason, I just like Hyper Dressing the most.

The OP was looking for a non-spray on tire dressing. But I do agree that Meg`s Hyper Dressing is a very good option and versatile. It is cost effective and can be used at multiple dilution ratios as well as a wheel well dressing.

I combined several product reviews in one thread and Blackfire Eclipse Tire Gel was among them...

The ones I like using are Poorboys Bold N Bright and BlackfireTotal Eclipse Tire Dressing Gel. I know they have sprayers but I have remove them and just pour out a little on to my tire applicator when applying.

    Re: tire dressing

I like the Sonus Tire & Bumper Dressing Gel. I am currently applying it with Tire & Trim Dressing Applicator, but am thinking of trying out Carrand Brush & Shine Tire Dressing Applicators. (all from Autopia Car Care). I also use it on all of my black trim.

I stick to BF and Garry Dean`s dressing. I like both a lot and they both dry to the touch.

I`ve been using Poorboys Bold& Bright for years and really enjoy the shine and ease of application. Lasts a good long while, about two weeks and the plus is its also good on plastics and other areas of the car.

Stoners, More Shine as a OTC is a good one as well

P&S Multi Dressing is what I use for volume cars. Not super shiny and it`s solvent based so it last a lot longer than water based ones do. Huge bonus 5 gallons = $90 bucks and that usually last me about 6 months @ average of 8 cars a day. On Details or paint correction vehicles I use Smart Gel(20$ for 8 oz bottle)

    Re: tire dressing

my top 2 are PERL diluted 1:1 and opti-bond both are great you dont need to spray on perl can put it in a pour bottle but its very liquid so mines in a small spray bottle i spray applicator with. durability on perl is much longer then opti-bond, but optibond still has a sheen at 2 weeks and still a nice black still at around week 4 with no sheen(if vehicle is not driven through mud or something). with perl it can take multiple coats diluted to get a shine but one coat on my tires provide a nice sheen. undiluted dont need multiple coats to get a shine if that is what you are after but perl really makes water bead off and makes cleaning easy just a wipe with car wash soap and done.... imo most customers that i`ve asked prefer how i dress tires vs others as its not greasy looking ect. both are great products, can be expensive but imo worth it.
