optimum tire shine (not the gel)

Optimum Tire Shine 128 oz. Refill

how would this work placed in a spray bottle, then sprayed directly on the tire? would it be SOWA? or would i be messing with a applicator?

It is sprayable but thick. I spray it on suv and pick up tires, let it sit about 10 min then wipe off with a junk MF. It would most likely sling if you don`t wipe excess off.

You can SOWA if you use a powered sprayer with no problem. A trigger sprayer will have thick/thin areas. We offer a application gun that uses compressed air and I have used a Wagner Control Spray for years with good results. Either of these will not need to be followed with wiping at all.

I use a spray bottle and use an curved applicator pad that I found at CG. First I will prime the pad with about half a dozen squirts and start on a tire. After that it may take one or two sprays per tire. Then the tire sits for a few minutes and gets a second coat. I have never encountered any sling when using this method.

I like OPT tire gel, mine seems to have gotten thicker, It used to spray really easy and spread great. Last few times I used it it didnt spray or spread as well. Dont know whats up with it.
