Re: best wheel cleaner you have used

I use Wesleys tire and wheel cleaner available at Wal Mart. Spary on wet tire and rim, agitate, rinse works great on all tires and rims with no issues. This is inexpensive and works great IMO

Abused wheels nothing I have used will beat malco brake off. Designed for German wheels, if you allow it to work as instructed, baked on dust come off in sheets with no agitation. Will not damage wheels or brake parts. Google it and you will be amazed. Only for the bad ones, not routine use.

As a "not wheel cleaner" Optimum Power Clean is pretty good as well.
Autoglym non acid wheel cleaner - haven`t found anything close and leaves the wheels with a shinny glow. $40/gallon delivered.

On my daily driver I use Sonus Rim Bright on polished aluminum wheels with good results. But I don`t let them get too crud`ed up before I clean them.

i bought Malco Brake Off a year ago and it is a winner. like the results of megs wheel brightener but it is so caustic i went with malco. just ordered a new gallon yesterday. finished a 17 year old lincoln daily driver ungaraged with "turbine vanes" wheels that were horrible. now just perfect. i use it confidently without the fear of stains, drips i had when using wheel brightener. Autoglym acid free does a great job on 90 percent of my daily driver cars i get. got a half gallon of sonax left and just never use it anymore. i live in the foothill of oregon with logging trucks everywhere. got a friend to spread the word that i can do their wheels this spring. could be a killing for little ole me. even ax men have needs.

For really dirty wheels I use Poorboy`s Spray and Rinse. It is awesome

Amazing Roll off is great for tires, wheel wells and the wheels too.

PS21 is really good and recently I tried and like the SONAX product. I will buying SONAX again.

I use a few products depending on how dirty it is. If it`s real bad I use iron x with sonax fe. If it`s medium dirty then sonax fe. If it`s lightly dirty then i use cg diablo.

Poorboy’s World Spray & Rinse Wheel Cleaner is my go to wheel cleaner. I`ve tried several different brands and Poorboys is my favorite. It always produces great results.

When I`m feeling lazy and don`t want to agitate my wheels I bust out PB S&R and just spray it on and rinse it off. It`s really that simple.
