Either Wheel Brightener or just plain old soap and water will do as Bill mentioned. I also try and have a vast assortment for brushes on hand.

I had good luck with the purple power followed by wheel wax on my chrome wheels. albeit they were ford (Roush) rims but chrome all the same. Hope this helps too.

Thanks for the help Sir,
I used Meg`s APC+ on these chrome wheels today. They still looked terrible after cleaning. They looked clean but just dull and had a built up "film" from 4 years of driving and never being polished or cleaned!!! :cursing::banghead::cursing::banghead:

I followed up with Mothers Chrome Polish and they turned out great! BUT..........a lot of work and a lot of TIME... Almost an hour per wheel, by hand!!! (Each spoke has at least 5 separate planes that have to be polished by hand.. times 7 spokes, times 4 wheels!)

I asked my customer if she ever cleaned the chrome wheels and she said..."What do you mean?"

    Nice Bill

The owner probably forgot the wheels were chrome and passed them off as aluminum.

I have both the Power Ball and the Mini Ball and I can really do a better job by hand.

Is the cone better than the other two?
