Right now, Vinylex does the job of protecting my dash. It dries to a matte finish and tends to last for weeks at a time. Eventually, I will switch to 303.

<strong class=`bbc`>for my dash, but found these...
3Mâ„¢ Leather and Vinyl Cleaner and Restorer, 16 oz, PN 39040
and
3Mâ„¢ Refreshâ„¢ Vinyl & Leather Protectant, Cucumber/Melon Scent, PN 03545.
Are they any good for my dash??
Thanks in advance! [/b]</blockquote>
Anyone can help me with the above 3M products pls?
Thnks!
I have tried 3M refresh product for vinyl. I used it a BMW`s leatherette interior. It was like vinylex but had a different, refreshing type smell to it. That lasted, not so long. The BMW is back on a diet of vinylex. I rate it decent, but there are better products out there.
YoSteve, you can add Jeep dashes to your list of approved BM-dash applications. Works nice.
Someone asked about exterior uses, and I will have to say that I found it to brown my tires, and required excessive amounts of product.

I still am unable to find the semi-gloss dash protectant. However, I found the Black Magic Professional Protectant. How is this, does it work nearly as well? Anyone has tried this and compared? Any help will be appreciated!
Only use the Semi-Gloss. The other stuff contains silicone, and that is bad stuff......stay away. Try WalMart, they usually carry the Semi-Gloss.
True that, SL is right. Stay away from waterless formulas.

Thanks guys for the warning!!
Unfortunately, I do not reside where there are any Wal-Marts. Any other formulas to recommend, I have some 3M stuff here as well. No 303 or Black Magic at the moment...
Check any local hardware stores with auto stuff or any department store type area`s like K-marts or Walmarts or maybe some really equipted grocery stores (or super stores).
Hope you find it

Thanks in advance!
I need to know whats the best wheel cleaner for GM crome wheeles. They are the ones that come on the denali`s. The question also is about getting the inside of the wheel that is not plated free of brake dust. I am sure an acid cleaner will work but its not frendly with the crome face.
I gotta order some today before the deals here end. Ok MR. Luster whats your pick...
Thanks fellas.
Meguiar`s Wheel Brightener is excellent for brake dust. Spray on, let dwell for a few minutes, agitate with a wheel/tire brush, rinse thoroughly.
Then coat with WheelWax or BFWD, or Zaino ClearSeal.
I`ve also used Meg`s APC+ and Purple Power on wheels with excellent results!:cornut:

You`ve been given one life.
Think about it.
I will have no issues with the chrome using this process Bill?
Thanks for the help Sir,
Wheel cleaners that are formulated with acid or a high alkali should not be used if the wheel surface is compromised as it will permeate the surface and cause the wheel finish to fail and may cause structural failure
