    2000 BMW 528i wheel restoration

    I recently purchased this car. The wheels are in rough shape. Some of the original finish is peeling off. The wheels are the 17" sport package version. Any suggestions on where to start? I was thinking of start with the fine cut polish using my buffer, then wheel wax. Does that sound like a good approach?

    the pros will help you and i dont have any answers but pics would be great as i have a 2000 bimmer also. i`d like to see what you working with...

    Do you have any pictures of the finish peeling? That would help us determine what the next step should be.

    Here is a picture of one of the rims. You can see the finish is dull and cracking on the edges. I think I need to remove the finish
