Short video I shot of Wheel Wax in action.

zoomzoom and I applied Wheel Wax to this wheel about 3 months ago? A quick blast from a pressure washer knocked off about 90% of the dirt in seconds. I even give the paint a quick blast (Blackfire applied at the same time) to see how well it cleans. Not to mention the at 3 months the water is still beading up and running off the paint like the day it was applied.

Yep, I do remember that Lambo, it was almost 3 months ago, that wheel wax works, Awesome!

Todd what pressure do you use with your washer? Are you ever affraid of damaging the paint?

1500 PSI or so, never afraid.

i wash my cars at about 2000 psi... just never ever put it on jet spray and you`ll be fine...

I did a full report on Wheel Wax as well on the R forum I belong to with similar results. Volvos are known for having VERY dusty OEM brakes, so I figured I would try it and I`ve had great luck with it, the dust washes off VERY easily. The only thing that it claims to do that I would say is inaccurate is it doesn`t "repel" dust, it just lets is be washed off with ease.

After you apply wheel wax, if you clean with a wheel cleaner, wont the acidic nature strip the wax right off? Therefore, you could only use soap and water to clean the wheels?

You are lucky, but be warned...

If you hit a repainted panel that hasn`t been prepped properly, or hasn`t had enough time to cure, you will blow a chunk of paint of the car.

Watch stone chips on repainted panels also. There is the possibility of the psi washer getting under the paint through the chip and blowing a nice chunk off.

Also, watch those painted wheels, they are tough to hand sand. You never know who sanded them in the body shop, could be someone not as thorough as you paid for.
