*Sweet Looking TA*//:drool5: .I did that to my 1998/SaturnSC/2
    one year,w/the *Rattle Can*.Dayuummm,was that a Mistake!!!!!.It came out *Okay*[I didn`t really like the Results,though],but,
I screwed up big time, and had *OverSpray* all over the car/ut:STUPID to say the least/.
I wash the car a few days later.Took *Kleen Strip* [Mineral Spirits] to the whole car.Took it to the Glass w/a Razor Scraper.
Then I took some Synthetic Compound from GlipTone and wheeled the car. After that, some Mothers Paste Wax.
    Last Year,prior to Winter,I,took the Wheels off,and Hand Painted,the 4/Calipers/Rotor Edges/Springs/Dust Shields & Chassis Steel.
Much Better results...and no overspray!!!!!!!...lol.I always spray the wheel wells,w/a Cleaner.I let it stand `til I fully rinse the
Exterior for washing, then, fire up my 4000 PSI/Cold Water Power Washer/:devil:.It cleans them up nice. After it drys,I spray,w/Tire Shine:
the wheel wells/sponge the tires/spray the front bottom Air Deflector [For Radiator]/.It does look nice. It`s like the Final Touch for the exterior....
    Regards/

    Talking all the time

I use an APC cleaner with every wash and spray the wells down good. I have never taken the time to paint the brake parts but should after seeing this.

That`s nice work BILL and gives a great final finish to the car. You guys are right, It looks like a 500 dollar suit with 10 dollar shoes when you don`t care for this area.

Again nice work thanks for the info and pics.

    Smile Clean wheels, etc

Most of our cars have front suspension parts that are visable through the wheels. On my SS, I painted the vertical supports with Rustoleum Satin Black 8 yrs ago and haven`t had to touch them since. Also painted the rear axle at the same time. Makes a big difference.

So Bill, this is going to be a few stupid questions

    1. what wheel cleaner did you use?

    2. How do you torque down the wheels? Only thing I can think of is like at tire shops when they have those air guns?

I use Mother`s Wheel Cleaner, then scrub with a long-handle brush and rinse.

I tighten with a torq wrench to 110 Ft Lb Torque.
