Wink Optimum Tire Protection & Coating

Ok, just saw this product demonstrated on Pan`s site. TIRE PROTECTION AND COATING - Optimum Dressings - Optimum Forum
I know, I know - another `latest and greatest" product, but if can last 6 months on most vehicles, this could be a game changer for tire dressings. Of course, I just saw this after spending a few hours cleaning my tires and applying Tuf Shine.

I hated Optibond so much, I`m going to sit on the sidelines and see if this has reviews that are just as mixed. I`ve had really good results with Tuf Shine.

I have been using Tuff shine on my truck. So I might give this a look when I run out.

    Dan:
What do you HATE about OptiBond Tire Gel?? After a request for suggestions on mate-finish tire gels, I bought and use Optibond to replace my use of OTC Meg`s Endurance tire gel that was too glossy for me (it does go matte-looking after about 2 days).

Re: Optimum Tire Protection & Coating

I just applied this to my tires last week and even posted a thread about it. Will be updating Thursday for a one week update. My initial impressions are that it is pretty durable.

Mostly there was so much hype around it. And the dedicated spray gun was just over the top. Looks wise it was too matte for my taste and it didn`t last past a single rain. The way people wrote about it, you`d think it was just like a coating, it was not even close. For that toned down look I find DG253 is much better.
