Sitting around yesterday, wondered about this. If you would take the chemical sprayer..

And mixed opti bond tire gel 1:1 in it, and then use it to apply a light even coat over the tires. Then spread it out with your foam applicator or the carrand tire dressing brush. What kind of results this would produce? I know you can dilute it 1:1 with their gun and air compressor. Curious. What do you think?

You can get a fine spray pattern out of the sprayer.

Why don`t you just dilute it and apply it to your dressing brush and skip the spraying all together? The only reason you use the gun is so you spray and walk away. And I thought Opti-Bond was your go-to, why do you want to dilute it now?

Noticed some sling yesterday even with opti bond! My guess is the aggressive sidewalls are pooling it and me applying too much product. My thought was i could control the application a little better this way. OR just go back to the carrand brush with LESS PRODUCT and a final wipe with a foam applicator. My old tires did not do this that i can remember. The sidewalls were much smoother. Just trying to stream line my application method. OR i am thinking just go with the foam applicator and for go the brush. THOUGHTS?

I just think it`s going to be messy with a spray bottle--getting it on the wheel, mist floating around. I think you should just dilute a little and try it with your brush. I thought a lot of people dilute it for traditional application (vs. pressure spray gun).

I only use Tuff Shine on all tires; its a liquid and I only apply it with their awesome sponge - TUF SHINE Pro Series Applicator Sponge
Have yet to find anything else that can beat this combo in my bizz..
If nothing else, the sponge alone is really, really, great..

After I apply Tire Dressing (I use one of these: Tire Dressing Applier & Pads ) I wipe off any excess with an old MF. Never had any sling with any product even with problematic sidewalls.

This doesn`t fit into your plan of streamlining the procedure as it adds a step. I`ve been using the DP turbo dryer on the tires and it has reduced sling to nill depending on the product used
