Good job completing "Phase 1" of the Vega Method. Now you`re ready to polish your engine bay to prep it for a coating. Write up coming soon

Yes I really polished and coated my engine bay

Re: Experimenting with the VEGA Method

If I`m honest I`ll tell you all that I never clean my engine. Just never crossed my mind. I occasionally dust off my windshield washer refill cap so my hands don`t get dirty filling it.

Looks like I need to get busy. I hope I don`t wet what shouldn`t get wet.

Great excuse to buy some polish angel engine as well.

Nice engine. Now you need to palladium your exhaust and you can eat off every part of your car.

Now you guys have me thinking about cleaning under the hood

First off ray that is some serious OCD. But in a good way. I have done the same thing in the past. I need to do is again.

Ron nice job on that engine bay. You should pick up some of the blackfire AIO trim cleaner/protectant. It`s seriously some great stuff. I have grown to like it each time I use it.

I`ve been using sonus motor kote , I did this to try and figure out how to quickly clean at shows. I normally have been using spray and gloss at the show, and was just trying something new.

AIO trim cleaner/protectant will be on the list as soon as I get low on Sonus

    Thank you

Had I worn the right shirt, the judge wouldn`t have seen the water spots. Would have been blinded by the shirt, and how well it looked

Yup I was surprised to see there are some water spots under your hood.
Do you drive ur Vette a lot in rain?

Below is a photo of my 2012 SLK and I have never seen water spots down there, and I drive it in rain quite often too:

Re: Experimenting with the VEGA Method

Yeah, I do drive it in rain. It`s got wipers and this is FL.

It`s also from washing and drying, and since I back the car in the slope of driveway is opposite drains and lets all the water go that way.
