    Powder Coat Wheel & Sealing

I just received a wheel that was refurbished by Wheels America. I sent it one day and next day it was done and it looked brand new. Just wondering since it was powder coated do I have to wait a month or so for the paint to bake out before I seal it with BFWD? Since powder coat has a heated process (from what I understand) does it account for the bake time? Thanks.

Since it was baked I would think you`re good to go. But I would play it safe and ask Wheels America to see if the brand of powder coat paint they use has a curing time before a wax is applied.

Thanks for the quick reply! I guess I could wait until Monday to call them but I figured since they shipped the wheel it was good to go. Better safe than sorry though so I`ll wait and call. Good tip.
