Thanks have been working on a dodge that has a lot of build up and the paint is very hard i tried citrus degrease that doesn`t seam to do well i have used clay thought it would remove the wax but i know my compounds are not working with buffer i have 3m perfect-it 3000 and the blackfire src it is sikkens paint 2004 i am wet sanding with trizact 3000 and 5000 just to get 3m compound to buff back out shine its slow go

are you using a Dual Action buffer? There is no way wax will withstand an abrasive compound on a buffer!

i would not think so ether but it does clog up my sanding disks i was saying the paint is very hard the compounds i have used so far will not cut i am having to sand out everything never had to deal with paint so hard yeah using da and i tried rotary with white 3m pad and first place i used it found a repair spot having hood re cleared will post pics im losing my shirt on this one im using microfiber buff pads lc and megs i have had 4 cut pads come apart autopia was very good about sending me new ones love there service
