Just remember Autopia Car-Care will match prices on current promotions. Give Ray a shot, support this great forum when you can. You can send him a dated email on sales from other sites that have sales that are expiring. He`ll take care of you.

That is true. But this brand (scangrip) is not carried at all by Autopia. Autopia does list the Rupes pen light cheaper than DI.

Re: Anybody Have A Rupes Or Flex Swirl Finder Light

I have the Flex light. It did better than a few other flashlights (regular run of the mills stuff, including a small mag light), but I`m not sure I would say it`s super awesome.

I use it, and as back-up, I have an 8$ (LE Adjustable Focus Mini CREE LED Flashlight Torch) light that is similar, and might perform almost as well.

And for giggles, I recently made my own Sun Gun which seems to work pretty good. It took me a while to figure out I need to hold it further from the panel than I do my other lights.

Fenix blows the Flex light away. It`s amazing what defects you can see with a Fenix.

Just saw a post where Rasky provided a model number. Then checked the price. At almost 2x the price, I would hope it does!

    Which Fenix model? The LD02?

They have a lot of styles there.

I have a Rupes light, so I`d be willing to part with my Flex one.

I`ve heard the Flex light is not as sturdy as the Rupes light. Any truth to the rumor?

Re: Anybody Have A Rupes Or Flex Swirl Finder Light

The Flex appears to be very well made and sturdy. Can`t imagine anyone having an issue with build quality.
