    Hey all,

I can`t resist a bargain & have found some cheap MF towels. I wanted to give all Oz detailers a heads up on $3 MF towels for sale in Oz. I figured they were worth a shot. If they were not good, I`d use them for the dirty jobs.

I was in "The Reject" shop and spotted them in the bath towel section. They are Reject Shop branded in a clear plastic slide lock pack. The pack states: "100% microfibre active towel, size: 40 x 65cm, Mf - 80% polyester 20% polyamide. Made in China." The two colours I have seen so far are white & light blue. The tag also comes off very easily - I just pulled it off!

Got to use them this afternoon and they look to be a very good detail towel. They are large and can be awkward to use at times but look to be of good quality so far.

Used one to quik detail my car which was washed yesterday and only had some minor dust. It has x2 Zaino Z5P & X2 Z2P. The towel worked brilliantly, as good as my "imported" gear and couldn`t see any marring.

Then used one towel to quik detail a car with dust/dirt spots remaining from a light sunshower this morning (car was left outdoors). I usually wash in this case but thought I`d try DP waterless auto wash which I purchased recently. Once again very pleased with the end result, a clean car with no marring evident from the wash. The towel was picking up the dirt well and being quite large I just kept folding it to use a new section until it was used up on both sides.

If you are after an inexpensive towel this is definitely worth a try.

I should also point out that there was a larger $7 Micro Fibre Bath Towel too. I haven`t used it yet to dry the car as I`m a bit uncertan if it would be safe to use as it is 100% Polyester. It comes in a clear plastic bag tied with a long white cord (duffel bag style). Size: 70cm x 140cm Microfibre 100% polyester!!! Might try it on an old bomb first?

Anyway, if I see any other worthwile mf towels in the future that look worthwile I`ll pass it on here... Cheers.

PS: I do still LOVE my Pakshack & Excel Detail towels!!!

I took some pic`s of the towels... The pic with the towels laid out next to eachother is a blue $3 towel next to a Meguiars mf with a green std Pakshak towel ontop. The folded white towel is a $3 towel...

The $7 mf bath towel is also pictured...

    cheers.
