That changes everything then!! Spend your money on what ever makes you happy!

Perhaps you need to add an additional room to your house for your growing collection .

Engineering Team Lead by day. Detailing superhero by night (well, by weekend normally). Gallons last a while but not forever by any stretch.

I don`t see anything wrong. If I was not watching cost
Business wise I`d be in trouble.. if it wasn`t my full time profession you have an envious collection. Not to mention you do great work with your stockpile.
One day I`ll get to do my own car.

Rather embarrassingly large, too. Same for pads. And a pc, gg6, 3401, and a metabo rotary. And dupray steamer. And an extractor.

Hmmm, maybe dc is on to something.

    Thanks Pat & JSFM35X.

I love my Dupray. Makes short work of really dirty leather and interiors. And there are so many uses around the house.

Will do. Have been waiting for lighter colored leather. Does just as well on black but you can`t see the dramatic difference as well.

Great! Did you consider the Diamer when you got the Dupray?

    I thought I had a lot!

I was thinking the other day that this hobby is way cheaper than golf. I never have gotten into golf, but I`ve liked detailing cars since I was about 14 or so.

Yes, I did. I looked at all of the pro models. I wasn`t totally convinced of the cost-effectiveness of steamers and dropping even more than the $2500 I did on the Dupray Hill Injection model I got didn`t sit well. Now that I have it, I wonder why it took me so long to get one - even if I didn`t detail cars! No comparison at all to the consumer models I already had.

As a 3-handicap golfer, I concur!! Can`t walk passed new driver models without a test drive.

For the non-golfers out there, I am pretty good.
