i`ve noticed the burning sensation more and more with certain chemicals. and compounding dust sure make boogers really nasty. time to think ahead and start protecting myself.

was gonna go for the 3m mask but thought it was a little bulky. if i don`t like it. i`m not gonna wear it. this one seems to fit fine and comfy

I have a 3m mask. It isn`t the bulk that bothers me, but the breathability. I sweat like crazy under it and it sucks for long polishing sessions.

Nice! I am interested to hear what you think about it. I really want to buy a Flex PE14 sometime soon.

Just a mini review, for now, I guess.

Overall, I like the PE more, both have a soft start, but the PE has a variable trigger which is a huge dealbreaker for me. The Rupes LH18ENS is cool because of the rarity factor; however, it requires a 220 outlet which is annoying. The head length from top to bottom is also more and increased further because of the fact it needs an M14 to US conversion so you can run a US spec BP.

    LH18ENS

Pros: Powerful (More than the flex and feels it too), Head ergonomics, Classic Rupes Long body chassis, build quality is top notch.
Cons: 220V only, Pain to get one (No used available), Equally as $ as the flex, NEEDS an M14 adapter, Not as smooth as the PE, NO variable trigger, Cliche Rupes 6 speed that`s realistically only three speeds.

    Flex PE14-2

Pros: Smaller, Chassis is more Ergonomic, Low profile head, six speeds that are actually 6 speeds, Ability to find one used, Smoothest operation of any polisher, US spec out of the box, No adapters required, Build quality is top notch.
Cons: Price, maybe too small for some, lightweight can lose control quickly, No Version 2 in sight.

I may or may not have an unhealthy addiction to glass cleaners.
How does the 1Z glass cleaner compare to Sonax glass cleaner, if you`ve tried it?

    Thanks in advance.

Not quite unboxing from an order but I unboxed at home after buying at Marshall`s for $16 when amazon wanted $40-45 so who cares if the box was damaged it still worked and fit amazingly with pretty good sound

I haven`t tried Sonax Glass Cleaner yet. The 1Z is the strongest Glass Cleaner I have ever tried. It will remove two week old pine tar blobs on glass, pretty amazing! The smell is strong but not unpleasant. It should have no problem removing smoker residue from the inside of windows. I bought a bottle of Meguires Glass Cleaner (very different from the concentrate version) and tried it out right away on my bathroom mirror and it`s a loser, just not strong enough, very similar to Windex. The 1Z stuff is from a different planet.

You guys and your glass cleaners, Zep Commerical sells ammonia free concentrate at HD for $11/gal. One gallon of concentrate makes 32 gallons of cleaner. I used to be a Sprayaway dude, but Zep product is just as good. And for the money..... I haven`t found another product that is as economical.

I dunno....but for me, there`s some secret sauce in can....I don`t know what it is, but I`ve always had better experience with sprays cans/glass vs. spray bottles.

1Z is the best, I have a 10L liter in the basement. Combine it with a cotton waffle weave and it`s instantly perfect!
