I would think the sponge applicator would absorb more product too. I use the LC applicator only for PBL Paint and Glass coatings. The CarPro block and suede towels are for all my non spray type coatings, though I do get tired of the suede slipping off the block. Sometimes it is quite awkward.

The LC "coating applicator" is just a regular piece of LC gold foam glued to another piece of thick black foam. It`s comfortable and handy to use - but that`s about it.

It worked really well applying Pinnacle`s coating to my car. But, to be honest, I think any foam pad would have worked just as well. I don`t think there is any special foams being used to make it. It absorbs as much product as any wax pad IME

Sound advice, I`ll stick to the suede + block for my WG ceramic coating applications.

I just received this bad boy today. Griots BOSS G21. I picked up the Rinseless wash on the side, otherwise the rest of the items were the $399 kit. 20% off + gift card = happy customer.

I cut two small slits in the side of my blocks to hold the cloth.

Last of the orders for a while, unless I can find the Gyeon polish/compound/primer in the 1000ml bottles.

Almost jumped on that deal as well, for once common sense won out. If the Kami backing plates woulda been in stock, different story indeed.

Needed something better than the HF polishers. Grabbed these for 306 shipped.

Once I use it I will. I don`t really have anything to compare it to. Maybe I`ll swing by Ron`s and let him check them out and see what he has to say.

Yep. The 3000 lumen really is nice
Works like a swirl light. Add this to my 4 smaller 5000k
Stand lights. Pics don`t do justice, I could see all defects.
