    Exclamation SunJoe Powerwasher

    https://untilgone.com/products/sun-j...table-nozzle-1

I found this SunJoe PW a few minutes ago. They make decent power washers and this is a really good price. I am not affiliated with any of these companies, I just thought someone might need a new PW!

That SPX1501 looks to be cheaper at both Home Depot and Amazon. With HD, one has the luxury of returning it to a local store if need be.

    Re: SunJoe Powerwasher

Slight threadjack - I was looking at the new SunJoe Model SPX9004-PRO. Low pressure, high GPM, perfect for detailing. I wanted to ensure that it is an on/off with trigger pull vs constantly running, it appears to be. However, in the manual it notes the below

NOTE: The motor only runs when the trigger is operated and shuts off when the trigger is released.
Bypass Mode - When the machine is turned on but the trigger gun is not, the pressure washer will enter the bypass mode with water flow circulated inside the pump. ATTENTION! In any case, DO NOT leave the machine in bypass mode for more than 2 minutes. Water circulation will generate heat, which will cause damage to the pump.

Is the above true for any electric PW or just some? I let my Ryobi idle for long periods of time and haven`t had any issues, been going on 2 years now. If that is how these commercial units work, that is a deal breaker. Every time I use a PW it will idle for long periods of time. Don`t want to have to worry about turning it on and off between a foam and final rinse or while starting and finishing a wheel.

    What???

Water circulation generates heat? Lol. Maybe I should drain my cars radiator then.

Seriously - no, electric pressure washers don`t all work this way.
