I actually have the WaxedShine WS21 and ran in a bit on my wifes older Audi. Seemed to be smooth enough for me and much quieter then my HF DA. I only polish 2-5 cars per year if I`m lucky so I couldn`t justifying spending the money on a Rupes. It corrected much faster then my other machine and I`m excited to use here, maybe this weekend when I do a full polish and coating on my wifes new GLE350.

Exactly....5/16-24 thread. Not a custom plate like Rupes or Boss, more like a PC ?

I don`t know of a 12mm polisher with a 5/16-24 backing plate. You found one?
