Anyone use car ramps? I have a set of old metal ones that I don`t feel safe driving on. I was thinking of going today to get a set of the newer style plastic ones.
Any thoughts or recommendations?
Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, for sure I am getting the Rhino ones. I just hope this Walmart carries them!
Thanks for the replies fellas!
I usually see them at Walmart. Also: Pepboyz and Autozone.
Griot`s has them for $60

No more Pepboys around here, they all closed down years ago. I will try Walmart tonight and if they don`t have them then Autozone on the way home.
I bought a pair of Rhino Ramps a couple of years ago from a local auto parts store. They`re great.
I think I paid about $40 for them. If you can get them at Wal-mart for about $20, that would be a great buy!
I got them from AutoZone a few years back for $50. Great ramps.

just make sure the surface you use them on has some grip to them otherwise you`ll just be pushing the ramps instead of going on them.

Thanks everyone! Got them at WalMart last night for under $19!!!!! The 12,000 pounders were undr $30 too if anyone needs them instead!
Can`t wait to use them!
Rhino work well, my older metal one would scar the asphalt a bit. WalMart had the best price at the time.
I`d love to use the Rhonos, but I need the low-car (I hesitate to call it sports car extensions when being used for my car) extensions in order to get up; Rhino does not offer a similar system.
I just put my old winter (rubber) mats under them to avoid scarring and pushing.

I have those ramp too, but it`s not too high(total is like 8"). Good for minor work like oil change, tranny fluid change. You can`t go under with a Geeper Creeper(lose another 3"). Other then that I dig it, I hate to use jack stand for minor stuffs. Oh well just my 2 cents.
Yeah, I needed them to swap my sway bars. The suspension is suppose to be under a load when you put the new sway bars on so these will be perfect I think.
