Got the tile last night :up

I opened the boxes to check out the tile, merely to inspect. well, 1.5 hours later the 16x7 with trim pieces was done.

    LOL!!

I told my wife I would be 2 minutes in the garage. She came to look 45 mins later and just shook her head. She said " I knew you couldn`t let it be. You really need to do this now?"

LOL! She love sme anyway, I think.

I tried a few pics but it was to dark and it didn`t com eout good. I will take when I get home. HOpefully I can paint this weekend.

As for the tile, it is about 1/2 in thick. Made of a thick plastic. Snaps together very easily. Cuts very easily to if you have obstacles.

Question: Over time would there be a problem with dust, dirt, grime, getting in between the seams of the tiles? I`m thinking in comparison to a solid mat like what`s for sale on Autogeek... just doing the compare and contrast thing. Thanks!

I think with a good leafblower you could blow it out.. There is a tiny space between each tile for dirt to fall through and I guess water to drain through.

I think the mat would be more of a mess than the tile in the long run.

HEre are some pics of the floor.

I left a strip on the left side for my dog. During the winter months she uses the garage as her bathroom. She is a primadonna and doesn`t go to the bathroom in the snow and cold weather. She is a pug so they are sensitive to the temperature.

    Anyway, here it is.....
