I have had a few people make comments that my garage never gets dirty, or it is just a show garage. Here are a few pics from today when I was working on the attic, There was a ton of crap left over from the owner before us. I had cleaned out most of the stuff the last few weeks. These 2 pics are of the last of the crap that was up there.. Yes my garage gets dirty.. Sometimes

I admire your efforts to keep it in tip top shape. I will do the same once I buy a house someday (only 20 years old).



BTW: Did you paint all the trim in there (black, red, white) or is it actual trim pieces?

May I ask about your floor coating? I`m not sure from the pics but it looks like whatever you have there might be, uh, failing.

If so what product did you use, etc.

Yeps it is Behr concrete stain.. I did all the prep, didn’t drive on it for 2 weeks and still came up.. The problem is that my slab doesn’t have a moisture barrier under it.. no mater what I painted it with it would have lifted..

ya it use to... It didnt last long with all the washing I was doing in the garage.. I liked the look but it just couldnt hold up...

Awhile ago I posted a question about whether a tile floor would stand up to a lot of washings. http://www.autopia.org/forums/showth...threadid=40944

So I am curious about the problem you had with your tile. Was the problem that the adhesive gave up or were the tiles themselves damaged? The responses to my post raised the issue of the floor being slippery. I had not considered that but thought that I might get around that problem with those rubber runners that people use to protect their carpeting. I appreciate any insight you can give me. Thanks.

Well, I think it was the adhesive, after a few washes the sides of the tiles came "unglued" and then it wasnt long till the full tile came up. I wouldnt try it again.

Mine were just under the tires so I am not sure if it was slipery, but I be it would be verry....
